Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Snap Israel receives, why it is used, when it may be public and how to ask questions or request a correction.

Snap Israel operates a public business directory. Business listing details intended for publication are different from private account, security and contact-form information.

Information we receive

  • Account details such as a username, email address and profile information.
  • Business listing information, including names, addresses, contact details, descriptions, images, opening hours, service areas and social links.
  • Reviews, comments, corrections, deal and event submissions.
  • Messages sent through forms or email.
  • Technical information such as IP address, device/browser information, logs, cookies and analytics events.

How information is used

We use information to operate accounts and listings; review submissions; display directory content; prevent spam, abuse and duplication; communicate about submissions; improve search and site performance; measure use; and meet legal or security obligations.

Public directory information

Published listing, review, deal and event information is publicly accessible and may be indexed, cached, quoted or archived by search engines and other services. Do not submit private personal information for public display. Business owners should provide only contact details they are authorised to publish.

Service providers and external services

We may use providers for hosting, security, email delivery, maps, embedded media, spam prevention and site measurement. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy practices. Following a map, social, business or other external link takes you to a third-party service.

Cookies and analytics

Snap Israel may use necessary cookies for login, account and security functions, and measurement technologies to understand site use. Browser controls and any consent tools offered on the site can be used to manage optional cookies.

Retention and security

Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed to provide the directory, maintain audit and moderation records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct or delete eligible personal information, unsubscribe from optional email, or report inaccurate public information. Some records may need to be retained for security, legal or legitimate operational reasons. Send requests through Contact Snap Israel or email info@snapisrael.com.

Children and changes

Snap Israel is a general-audience business directory and is not directed to children. We may update this policy when services or practices change and will revise the date shown below.

Last updated: 13 September 2026. This public transparency policy should be reviewed if the site operator adopts a different formal legal entity or additional data practices.
