Corrections Policy
If information on Snap Israel is wrong or out of date, readers and business owners can report it and include evidence so the directory team can assess and correct it.
We prioritise errors that could misdirect a customer, misidentify a business or materially change the meaning of published information.
How to report an error
Use Contact Snap Israel. Include the exact page URL, the information you believe is wrong, the proposed correction and a primary source or other evidence where possible.
What happens next
- The report is logged and checked against the listing record, owner information and relevant sources.
- We may contact the submitter or business for clarification.
- A supported correction is applied and the page update date changes.
- Serious or disputed matters may remain unpublished while evidence is assessed.
Corrections versus updates
A correction fixes information that was wrong when published. An update reflects a later change, such as new hours, a new address or a closed business. Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a separate correction note; material editorial corrections should be explained on the affected page.
No removal for disagreement alone
We assess accuracy and policy compliance. A business preference, disagreement with fair opinion or dislike of a genuine review is not by itself grounds for removal.
