Accuracy and sourcing
We distinguish owner-supplied information, public-source directory research, community reviews and editorial material. Factual claims should be supported by the business, direct observation, a primary source or a clearly identified reputable source. We do not present a directory entry as an independent endorsement.
Independence and commercial content
Paid placement, advertising, sponsored material and affiliate relationships should be labelled. Payment does not permit a business to buy a positive review or suppress a legitimate correction. Editorial conclusions are not sold to listed businesses.
Updates, dates and authorship
Articles show an author or responsible editorial team, publication date and updated date when material changes. Directory listings show their information source and either a last-checked date or last-updated date. Opinion and analysis are labelled so they are not confused with straight news.
Use of automation
Automation may assist with formatting, duplicate detection, categorisation, summaries and quality checks. Published facts remain subject to human reporting, owner confirmation, source evidence and correction. We do not knowingly invent missing business details.
Corrections and conflicts
Material errors are corrected as promptly as practical. Anyone with a personal, financial or business connection that could materially affect editorial judgement should disclose it to the responsible editor. See the Corrections Policy for how to report an error.
