The role
Gong, whose AI platform is used by revenue teams at more than 5,000 companies, is hiring a Senior Product Writer for its Product Writing team in Tel Aviv (the ad also calls this a Senior UX Writer). It is meant for someone who has already been responsible for the content of complicated products. You would work with experienced writers, designers, product managers and engineers at a quick pace and to high standards. Work is flexible and hybrid, split between home, the road and the office.
What you will do
- Take care of all the content needs of your product pods.
- Lead writing projects from beginning to end, using Figma and prototypes to write and refine copy in context.
- Help define and look after the design system, style guide and other team resources.
- Write short, clear and useful microcopy with product managers, engineers and designers, and comment on UX and UI content in your product areas.
- Watch internal and external feedback channels to respond to customers and decide content priorities.
- Support the documentation of Help Center articles.
- Write in-product help such as product tours and sidebar content.
- Use AI writing tools every day to draft and review content and produce more of it, and help the team develop better AI-assisted workflows.
What you need
- 5 or more years of writing microcopy.
- English as your mother tongue.
- Having been responsible for UX content on complex products, from the first problem through launch and later versions, with a portfolio to show it.
- Sound content judgment, attention to detail and a record of accurate, consistent work.
- A habit of researching product context, user needs and evidence before deciding on content.
- Fluency with AI writing tools, using them to go faster while keeping quality.
- Quick learning and curiosity about new technology.
- The ability to adapt tone and voice to different customer types and use cases.
- Clear communication: sharing progress, raising risks and blockers early, and confirming decisions and next steps.
- Reliable follow-through on commitments, and early warning when timelines change.
- Confidence to ask questions, admit uncertainty and sort out content problems yourself.
- Independence with little supervision, as well as being a strong team player.
- A hard-working, positive, energetic approach to a fast-paced workplace.
