Taboola is looking for a Revenue Operations Director for its Corporate Finance team in Tel Aviv. The role owns the worldwide revenue close each month and quarter, the billing system that drives it, and the data feeding the KPIs and results the company reports as a Nasdaq-listed business. You will lead a small team of analysts, partner with several departments, review unusual contracts before signing, and rebuild how the function works with AI and automation first.

What you will do

  • Run the revenue close end to end every month and quarter, from platform data through NetSuite to the general ledger, and finish it on time.
  • Make sure revenue and gross profit figures are accurate, including reconciling the platform to the ledger, validating contracts and maintaining the revenue views behind KPIs.
  • Own the billing and revenue systems and their automation roadmap, with AI-assisted reconciliations, exception-based review and automatically generated close and audit evidence, so the close gets shorter each quarter.
  • Check strategic and non-standard deals before they are signed, together with Sales, Legal and Accounting, to see what they mean for billing, for gross-versus-net treatment and for how revenue is recognized.
  • Own the SOX controls for revenue and billing, help with audits at quarter and year end, and fix any findings.
  • Give leadership insight on trends by segment, geography and product, on the effects of pricing and deals, and on risks early in the quarter.
  • Manage a team of 2 to 3 analysts covering billing and revenue, including their priorities, review standards, capacity and career growth.
  • Ahead of launch, work out how billing, revenue data and controls will flow for new markets, products, acquisitions and pricing models.

What you need

  • 7-10+ years working in billing, revenue accounting or revenue operations for a global tech company that is public or late-stage, with 3+ years as a team leader and mentor.
  • A Bachelor's in Finance, Economics or Accounting, plus a CPA or equivalent.
  • Direct ownership of usage-based billing at high volume and of the revenue close across several entities and currencies under tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of SOX and of revenue recognition under US GAAP (ASC 606), including reviewing unusual contract terms and running billing and revenue controls at a public company.
  • Commercial judgment: you can draw insight on KPIs from the data and advise leaders on how pricing, deal structures and new products affect revenue.
  • Daily use of AI tools, a habit of automating controls and reconciliations before adding manual checks, and a record of redesigning processes with measurable reductions in close time and manual effort.
  • Deep NetSuite experience as the system of record for billing and revenue, together with BI tools and Salesforce, and proven skill at reconciling platform data to invoices and the ledger.
  • Experience partnering with Sales, Legal, Accounting, Account Management, FP&A and Business Applications in a global matrix structure.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

  • Time at a two-sided business or marketplace, with customer revenue on one side and partner payments on the other, or usage-based billing.
  • A Big 4 background serving publicly traded clients.
  • Support for board reporting, earnings materials or revenue disclosures to the SEC.
  • SQL, and practical experience of creating AI agents or finance automations that run in production.
  • Payment gateways, e-invoicing and VAT rules in different jurisdictions.
  • Bringing newly bought companies onto the group's SOX controls and its billing and revenue systems.

Pay and benefits

  • A hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office, and the option of coming in more often.
  • Competitive benefits and well-being programs suited to the region, including comprehensive health cover.
  • A kitchen that is kept fully stocked, plus perks that depend on the location.
