Mid-Market Account Executive at Datadog

The role

Datadog, the observability and security platform, is hiring a Mid-Market Account Executive in Tel Aviv. Your whole focus is winning new customers among mid-sized to large organizations, using a set sales method and working with colleagues to understand what each prospect needs and show them what Datadog offers. It is a hybrid job, and the company says it values time together in the office. The role can also be a step toward further growth in a sales career.

What you will do

• Spend all your time on acquiring new logos.
• Turn inbound leads into closed deals.
• Use tools such as Sales Navigator and DiscoverOrg.
• Prospect into CTOs, engineering and IT leaders, and technical users in SRE, DevOps and DevSecOps.
• Build contacts across several departments of complex organizations.
• Work with Sales Development Representatives to fill the top of the funnel.
• Manage the entire sales cycle, including negotiation and on-site technical demos.

What you need

• Experience of finding and closing new logos.
• The ability to plan your way into large organizations.
• Curiosity, motivation and drive as a salesperson.
• Confidence on the phone and creativity in email.
• The ability to travel to client sites by car, train or plane for up to 30% of your time, and to sit for up to 6 hours while doing so.
