The role
Similarweb, the NYSE-listed digital intelligence company, is hiring a Director of Procurement & Travel in Tel Aviv (the ad also calls this Director of Operations, Procurement & Travel). You run its worldwide procurement and corporate travel program from end to end. You are a player-coach: you lead a small team and also stay directly involved in important vendor negotiations, process automation and work with Finance, Legal, Security and executive leaders. This job requires both English and Hebrew. It is mostly office-based, with some days from home.
What you will do
- Own the whole path from intake to purchase, standardizing approval workflows with Legal, Finance, Security, IT and R&D so they run quickly and efficiently.
- Lead complex negotiations for technology (SaaS, cloud infrastructure and software licenses) and other areas (Marketing, HR, Professional Services and Facilities).
- Set global savings targets, lead vendor consolidation and stay ahead of contract renewals.
- Develop procurement systems and automation with tools such as Zip, NetSuite and contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms.
- Run global travel: company policy, agency relationships, booking tools and spending analysis for FP&A and business heads.
- Work with Legal and Security so vendors worldwide meet SOC 2, GDPR and data privacy standards.
- Mentor and develop a small, high-performing team.
What you need
- 12 or more years of operational procurement, with a strong background in global technology or SaaS companies.
- 5 or more years in leadership, having managed teams and aligned different functions.
- A hands-on attitude, happy to step into negotiations, contract reviews and operational problems.
- Sourcing experience in both technology and other categories, including complex SaaS and IT infrastructure deals.
- Direct experience of intake-to-procure platforms such as Zip, and of CLM tools.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to present spending insights to C-level executives.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Hebrew.
Nice to have
- NetSuite.
- Corporate travel policies, agencies and booking platforms.
