Engineering Team Lead at Transmit Security

The role

Transmit Security combines customer identity and anti-fraud tools in one platform, for consumer-facing sectors such as banking, insurance, fintech, gaming, retail, telecoms and utilities. It is hiring an Engineering Team Lead in Tel Aviv, on a hybrid basis, for its Identity Verification group. That group makes cross-platform SaaS products that use AI, machine learning and computer vision to verify users from their documents. You lead engineers working across several technology stacks.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of engineers.
• Guide how complex SaaS features get designed, architected and delivered across web, mobile and backend.
• Work with Product, UX and Data Science.
• Oversee production systems that run at high scale and are critical to the business.
• Promote good practice and a positive engineering culture.

What you need

• 5 or more years as a software engineer, including 3 or more as a team leader.
• Practical work on current web stacks, for example React, Node.js, Java, .NET Core or Scala.
• A strong understanding of AWS, GCP or Azure.
• A record of leading projects from start to finish in a fast-moving company.
• A real interest in building systems that scale and perform well.

Nice to have

• A background in computer vision, AI or cybersecurity.
