The role
JFrog's new Senior Financial Analyst will be the main finance partner for its People (HR) and Operations groups, reporting to the Director of FP&A in Israel. The ad gives the location as Tel Aviv or Netanya. You would help HR and Operations leaders see what investment in people costs and returns and where the next shekel should go. It calls for curiosity above all: finding out why a number moved, talking to those behind it and turning that into a clear recommendation. You work AI-first, using tools such as Claude in your everyday analysis. This job requires both Hebrew and English.
What you will do
- Be the daily finance contact for HR leaders and partners, turning what they want to do with people into cost, headcount and budget scenarios.
- Build and maintain a people and operations scorecard with the HR Analysis team, covering headcount against plan, revenue per employee, cost per hire, time to fill, and attrition including regretted attrition, and explain changes in plain language.
- Create the recruiting plan and budget with the VP of Recruiting: requisitions, recruiter capacity, agency spending, cost per hire and offer modeling.
- Be FP&A's single contact for company headcount planning.
- Build driver-based models in Pigment connecting hiring plans to cost, both for the yearly headcount plan and for re-forecasts during the year.
- Model merit and bonus cycles, equity refreshes, benefits and total rewards scenarios, and help HR with pay equity analysis and compensation reviews.
- Partner with Operations on facilities and workplace costs in Netanya and Tel Aviv. Real estate analysis is a smaller part of the job.
- Put together the people and operations reviews each month and quarter, along with board materials, for HR leaders, the CFO and the Director of FP&A.
What you need
- 5 to 8 years of progressing finance experience, with at least 3 in business partnering for HR, People or Operations.
- Real experience as an HR partner: attending HR leadership meetings, owning people metrics and influencing HR decisions with financial analysis.
- Direct work with HR or Operations teams, ideally in SaaS, technology or another high-growth company.
- Real business curiosity and an interest in people, including building trust with colleagues who do not speak finance.
- Strong organization and the ability to manage many priorities in a fast global environment.
- Hands-on cost modeling of merit, bonus, equity and benefits.
- Expert financial modeling and Excel, and hands-on Pigment experience (required).
- Excellent Hebrew and English, and the ability to make complex finance clear for non-finance people.
Nice to have
- Working experience of Oracle HCM (strongly preferred).
- Working with Claude or a similar AI tool every day to draft materials, analyze data, build models and automate regular reports.
- Planning real estate, workplace or facilities costs.
- Knowledge of Israeli employment costs such as pension, study fund, severance and statutory benefits.
