The role
Taboola, the performance advertising company, is hiring a Product Analyst for the Product Analytics team in its Tel Aviv office. You help shape product strategy with data, working alongside Product Managers to find opportunities, agree how to measure success and turn complex data into practical advice. You also use AI tools to make analysis faster, more scalable and more trustworthy throughout the company.
What you will do
- Work with Product Managers and R&D to guide product decisions, find ways to improve the product and support company goals.
- Study large datasets and present clear conclusions and recommendations to PMs, Engineering and other partners.
- Plan and analyze A/B tests to measure and improve product performance and understand user behavior.
- Create dashboards, data models, AI tools and agents so the team spends less time on manual analysis and gets answers sooner.
- Use AI to explore data, form and test hypotheses, and tackle new problems.
- Create self-serve tools that let PMs, R&D and others get data and run simple analyses themselves, and set the standards that keep those results reliable.
- Run several ongoing and ad-hoc data projects, and become the main data contact for your product area.
What you need
- 3 or more years in data analytics, BI or product analytics, including at least one significant job in a product team.
- Hands-on SQL and BI tools, with experience of turning analysis of large datasets into product recommendations.
- A degree (bachelor's or master's) in an analytical subject such as science, engineering, statistics, economics or mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on use of AI to automate work and build analytical tools or agents, and a personal drive to improve how analysis is done.
- High standards: you check AI output, challenge your own findings and can show how you reached a conclusion.
- A strong sense of ownership of a product area, and the initiative to anticipate needs and keep learning new data methods.
Nice to have
- Python, R or another scripting language.
- Building internal tools, data products or analytical frameworks that people outside your team use.
