Kosher

Business Description

Armando Kosher Fish Restaurant on the Tel Aviv Promenade combines the three elements that make every meal a celebration: a variety of fresh fish, a rich wine menu and an intoxicating view.
Armando was founded by Armando (Ami) Kadosh who started his way managing the Benny the Fisherman restaurant chain. His genuine love of the sea and its offerings sent him looking for an inviting location with a sea view. On finding that perfect location, he turned to Architect Yossi Even to design a restaurant in the European style with motifs from the Mediterranean islands.
The restaurant makes no comprises, using the freshest fish, the choicest vegetables and the finest olive oil from Arab villages in the country’s north.
A meal at Armando’s starts with “ask for more” home-made rolls and a variety of fresh mezze that keep coming throughout the meal of fish: drum fish, yellowtail fillet, bass, mullet, St. Peter’s, salmon fillet, red mullet, sea bream and grouper steak, as well as fish by weight: red snapper, sea bass, grouper, yellowstripe, sea bass.
Meat lovers will find what they’re looking for at Armando’s: entrecote, beef fillet, lamb chops and more.
The restaurant’s signature dish is Moroccan-style fish, recreating the culinary heritage of his mother’s kitchen. The dish is served in the center of the table and includes grouper/St. Peter’s fish in a tomato, garlic, pepper and herb sauce. The dish must be ordered 24 hours in advance.
Armando believes that “Good fish goes with good wine” and so the wine list offers a rich selection of white, red and sparkling wines at affordable prices (90-180NIS). The wine cellar stocks Israeli wines beside wines from France, South Africa, Italy, Spain and other surprises.
Armando recently became a kosher restaurant.
