About Dr. Shmuel Lux

Shmuel Lux, D.C. grew up in New York City. He received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps where he served as an Air Traffic Controller and is a Vietnam veteran. He went on to complete a full-time, 4-year Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at The New York Chiropractic College following pre-med studies at Brooklyn College.

Dr. Lux regularly enrolls in professional continuing education conferences and seminars in the U.S. and Israel, which are an important part of staying up-to-date with new trends in diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Lux has had additional training in: X-Ray/MRI Diagnosis, Upledger CranioSacral Seminars, Advanced Neurology Seminars, Murphy Whiplash Seminars, Orthotics, and Manipulation under Anesthesia.

Dr. Lux is a former staff chiropractor at the Maccabi Kupah, Jerusalem.

Dr. Lux is a member of the Israel Chiropractic Society (ICS), a Diplomate of the U.S. National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, licensed in the U.S. in New York and New Jersey, and was a treating Chiropractic Doctor in the 2009 Maccabiah Olympics.

As a holistic doctor it is very important to recognize the connection between the mind and the body and provide a holistic approach to treating health conditions. I don’t just advise my patients what they should do, I actually do it myself. I exercise regularly, eat healthy foods, get proper rest, take nutritional supplements, and receive preventative, holistic chiropractic treatments.
